Iceland South Coast
A downloadable game for Windows
Explore the recreated south coast of Iceland in this virtual walking experience. Hike through the landscape and discover the unique moss lava field, black sand beach, church, and crater that is iconic of Iceland. Experience the beautiful soundtracks and ambient sounds of the ocean waves, waterfall, and river throughout your discovery.
Visit the in-game virtual photo gallery featuring the landscape photography works of Makito Umekita, Felipe Alves, and Simon Migaj.
Inspired by Caves rd and Death Stranding work, I decided to recreate a different version of Iceland.Having been to Iceland with some of my friends in the past, I was able to reference back to some of the photos I've taken. I've used the photo real megascan assets from Quixel in this game to add realism in the visuals and scenery. I realized that recreating the south coast of Iceland was feasible with the available Quixel 3d models. This game was also made possible with Unreal Engine.
